We are on the hunt for a dynamic, highly motivated Event Production Manager, to plan and deliver our event strategy. This role will be responsible for developing and advising on technical requirements and resourcing needs to support major and minor events on site as well as the day-to-day implementation of Event Production.

The Event Production Manager will also play a signification part in ideation and planning of new events for the site and ultimately help our visitors make memories that will last a life-time. Recent events include Dino Valley and our current Nocturnal event.
Duties will include:

  • Developing and advising on technical requirements and resourcing needs in line with event/project scope
  • Contribute to the ideation of future events concepts, by advising on the logistical and technical solutions and approaches, industry standards and safety aspects of event ideations
  • Site surveys to determine scope and needs for an event
  • Managing a diverse group of contractors and team members to deliver events

·       Manage on site production, including install and de-install of events

·       Liaising with key internal stakeholders to understand impact and demand on resourcing in terms of technical requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess and demonstrate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field
  • Experience in event planning, production management and Event Production
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience leading a team
  • Proficiency in budgeting and financial management
  • Demonstrated safety knowledge and implementation into your everyday work
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience in the tourism or entertainment industry is advantageous
