The Role
As the Team Leader of Major Events & Festivals Production, you will lead a dedicated team in the planning and delivery of large-scale events that enrich the cultural and social fabric of Parramatta. Reporting to the Manager, Events and Festivals you will play a pivotal role in developing the city's event calendar, fostering partnerships with stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of events that attract audiences from across the Parramatta LGA and beyond.
About you
- Proven experience in the planning, development, and execution of Major Events and Festivals
- Dynamic leader who thrives in a fast paced environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Strong communication skills which allow you to work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and event contractors to coordinate all aspects of event production, including logistics, and budget management.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities ensuring a high level of professionalism and adherence to Council policies and procedures.
- Commitment to develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure the safety and security of participants, attendees, and staff during events.
- Ability to evaluate event success through post-event analysis, attendee feedback, and performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.

We are offering an attractive remuneration from $121,735 to $134,009 plus 11% superannuation.
