Job description

We are seeking to appoint an Event Stylist who is self motivated, client service focused and sales orientated, with a razor sharp eye for detail and a passion for the Events Industry!

Creating amazing events is what we do! At Phenomenon Creative Event Services we have earned a reputation for service excellence in the events industry. We specialise in Event Theming and Styling, Event Production and Furniture and Prop Hire. 

Our focus is to extend to every client the personalised service they expect and deserve, to completely transform any space and deliver an extraordinary experience not to be forgotten!

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • quote, negotiate and secure new and repeat business to meet KPI's
  • end to end event service for clients, from sale to delivery
  • prepare and deliver proposals and floorplans for all events
  • prepare and deliver event briefing notes for our team
  • establish and maintain relationships to close sales opportunities
  • balance creative concepts and present new idea's using our stock pieces
  • event logistics management
  • managing external suppliers, scheduling and critical pathing
  • stage management of some key events
  • assist in all office and general administration tasks as directed 

To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • minimum of 2 years experience in event management, event hire or event production with demonstrated applicable skills
  • excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • natural ability to build rapport with clients easily
  • able to work autonomously as a member of a team in a constantly changing and high pressure environment
  • strong leadership qualities
  • proven sales ability and strong negotiation skills
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to work to tight deadlines
  • multi-tasker with strong time management
  • excellent computer literacy
  • experience in Abobe Creative Suite, CAD programs and Microsoft Office Suite
  • common sense, initiative, and creativity
  • an understanding of current styling trends and pop-culture 
  • a good sense of humour, strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • a valid drivers licence is essential as you will need to attend regular meetings 

Due to the nature of the role, work after hours and on weekends will be required. 

The successful applicant must have no pre-booked leave in November or December as these are critical months for our business.
