Location: Notting Hill
Remuneration: $53,751 per annum (plus 11 superannuation)
Employment Type: Full-time with part-time considered
Duration: 8 weeks must be able to commence 3 June 2024 or earlier, there may be the option to convert to casual at the end of the fixed-term role.
St John Ambulance (Vic) has been saving lives and delivering care and compassion throughout Victoria for 140 years. Our volunteers and our staff are the lifeblood of everything we do. We are currently recruiting for an Event Support Services to provide support through scheduling of volunteer and casual workforces to events.

The Event Support Officer exists within the Volunteer and Event Health Services structure of St John Ambulance Victoria and is responsible for the coordination of the St John delivery of first aid services at public and private events throughout the state.
Reporting to the Manager of Event Support Services team, the scope of the role covers the scheduling of a volunteer and casual workforce to events and oversight of the deployment of resources during the execution of first aid services at events.

Key Responsibilities
- Project manage major event admin needs
- Ensure full compliance with policies and procedures
- Reporting on daily, weekly & monthly activities
- Assist & manage member request ensuring quality customer service
- Database management and administration of current and forecasted event loads
- Maximising the use of volunteer resources
- Ensure events are resources adequately
- Provie administration and telephone support for event enquiries
- Experience in an administration role with a process driven approach
- Strong attention to detail in data entry and administration
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- High level computer skills including Microsoft and Salesforce
