Busselton Pavilion is the latest venue to join Parker Group, the team behind prominent Perth venues such as The Royal and Dandelion.

Busselton Pavilion is a multifaceted dining destination in the newly refurbished Busselton Central, recently opened in the new year with great feedback from both industry and locals. The venue is comprised of a wine shop, eatery, beer garden, along with a private dining room and mezzanine function space.  

About the role

As the Events & Reservations Coordinator, you will be the main point of contact for customers and businesses organising functions and bookings at Busselton Pavilion.

This role will oversee event planning and execution, and build relationships with the Southwest community. 

You'll balance suppliers, staff needs, budgets, floor plans, and timelines - working collaboratively with the Parker Group's Marketing and Operations team based in Perth, and with the venue's operational team, to deliver seamless events. 

This person will also drive internal activations, such as wine tasting sessions, and collaborations with Cabin Fever and other festivals in the region. Your day-to-day will also include updating our booking systems and other administrative duties.

What you bring

• Minimum 2 years’ event planning and coordinating experience 
• Excellent guest focus and passion for hospitality - previous floor experience in a restaurant will be advantageous 
• Positive can-do attitude and approach to all situations
• An organisational whiz
• A knack for building positive connections with clients and colleagues
• Networking skills - existing experience working with the Southwest community and contacts in the event / tourism / marketing industry is ideal
