The Opportunity:
ResourceCo have recently acquired a successful long-term Recycling & Waste business in Brooklyn, Victoria. We are continuing to expand and grow our Business in 2023 and beyond, and our new site in Brooklyn forms a critical and exciting part of this.
We are now on the search for a multi skilled Operator to join our team, primarily working across our Timber and Crushing Plants.
You will be responsible for operating a Front-End Loader, Materials Handler & 30t Excavator to move, sort & pre-process materials using both our Muncher and Rock Breaker attachments.
This is a permanent, full time secure role with ample hours available across the week and weekends.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Ensure machines are maintained regularly and to a high standard, to optimise productivity.
- Always operate in a safe manner to optimise machine performance and operational requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong effective relationships with key external stakeholders e.g. customers, raw material suppliers.
- Ensure all plant documents are maintained including incident reports and pre-start checklists.
Skills and Experience
- Construction Industry White Card
- Must hold a current Drivers Licence
- Go getter, can do attitude and a willingness to learn and cross skill into multiple roles onsite.
- Current Excavator & FEL Heavy Machinery Tickets (desirable)
- Experience with Rock Hammer or Grab attachments (desirable)
- Skid Steer / Bobcat Ticket (desirable)
- Forklift Licence (desirable)
- Traffic management understanding and experience (desirable)

Who we are:
ResourceCo’s Recycling & Waste business repurposes waste materials destined for landfill including asphalt, concrete, bricks, and rubble from construction sites Australia-wide. The waste is used to manufacture a range of recycled aggregates and recycled asphalt products.
