Hanson is one of Australia's leading suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry. We produce aggregates, including crushed rock, sand, gravel and road base from a number of locations across Australia.
We are currently seeking self-motivated and enthusiastic Excavator Operator to join the team at our Diggers Rest Quarry in VIC, approx. 40 minutes' drive Northwest of Melbourne CBD.
This is a full-time position with overtime and weekend work according to business needs.
In your new role with us, you will:
- Carry out day to day operation and maintenance of various vehicles, plant, and equipment.
- Operate a heavy vehicle (excavator/front end loader/dump truck). This role will predominantly be on an excavator every shift.
- Perform general labour activities including cleaning, hosing and shoveling.
This role is a great fit for you if you have:

- Excavator ticket is advantageous.
- Experience of 2 - 3 years in excavator operations.
- The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
What we offer:
- $31.44 - $34.65/hour pending experience/qualifications, plus penalty rates, plus super.
- Shift hours - Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm. Overtime available when required.
