Form of workConnect Resources is an industry leading brand in civil construction in QLD, WA and NSW, working with major contractors such as Georgiou, Downer and CPB Contractors.
We are currently looking for multiple Excavator Operator's for an immediate start on projects all across the Gold Coast. The scope of the work is all in the water infrastructure space, where you will be required to do detailed work on Excavators ranging from 5T up to 30T. You will be digging around live services and working in close proximity to traffic, so you need to be precise.
Key Responsibilities
- Detailed earthworks around live services (gas, water, and electricity)
- Installation of telecommunication services
- Installation of water and wastewater pipelines
- Trenching and benching for stormwater/water mains
- Backfill & compaction
- RII Excavator ticket and/or Pipe-laying quals
- White/blue card
- Ability to read plans and work to levels/grades
- Proven operating experience in civil construction
- Demonstrated expertise in final trim operations
- GPS experience (Preferred for certain jobs)
- Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol screen
- Above award rates with penalty rates applied after 7.6 hours.
- Daily meal and travel allowance provided.
