Job description

The Executive Advisor role a senior leadership position responsible for helping oversee and managing consulting services within Intuit Technologies Tasmania. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong business acumen, exceptional leadership skills, a strong client base and extensive experience in consulting and client management. The Executive Advisor is accountable for driving business growth, ensuring service excellence, and delivering value to clients and exceptional service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and support the execution of the strategic vision, goals, and objectives for the consulting services for Intuit Technologies.
  • Identify market trends and emerging client needs to drive innovation and differentiation in consulting offerings.

Business Development

  • Lead business development efforts to identify, pursue, and win new consulting opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
  • Build and nurture strategic client relationships to expand business opportunities and maximise growth.

Client Engagement:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance, thought leadership, and industry insights to address their business challenges and opportunities.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication, responsiveness, and delivery of value-added consulting services.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of consultants, project managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning to attract, retain, and develop top talent.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, operations, and executive leadership, to drive integrated solutions and maximise business impact.
  • Represent the consulting services division at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance visibility and reputation.

Service Delivery Excellence:

  • Oversee the delivery of consulting projects and engagements to ensure quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
  • Establish and enforce best practices, methodologies, and quality standards for consulting service delivery.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the consulting services division's budget, forecasts, and financial performance targets.
  • Monitor and analyse key financial metrics, project profitability, and resource utilisation to optimise performance and profitability.

Risk Management:

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with consulting engagements, including project scope, timelines, resources, and client relationships.
  • Implement risk management strategies and controls to minimise exposure and protect the organisation's reputation.

Qualificationsand Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, economics, or related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in consulting, business development, and client management roles, with at least 10-15 years of experience in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of driving business growth and achieving financial targets.
  • Deep industry knowledge and expertise in consulting methodologies, best practices, and emerging trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and resources in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on delivering value and exceeding client expectations.
