Visit our and For opportunities in the department, visit and the .What is the role?Tenure: Five (5) year Senior Executive Service role.This is an executive leadership role responsible for driving the strategic direction of the Investment and Trade Facilitation division within the Strategy and International Engagement Group.Invest and Trade Western Australia acts as the Western Australian Government’s ‘front door’ to assist investors and businesses wanting to engage with the State’s world-leading industries, while also providing support to local business to reach their export potential.We are seeking a collaborative individual who is committed to getting the best out of their team. The successful applicant needs to be able to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to shape and guide the State’s Investment and Trade agenda.In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic coordination and oversight of the Investment Attraction Fund and the State’s investment attraction and Trade promotion client servicing function. You will also support the Investment and Trade activities and operations of the Invest and Trade Western Australia Global Network through oversight of a dedicated International Regional Hub Coordination Unit.You will have significant management and leadership experience with a demonstrated capability to effectively represent the Department and Western Australian Government in a range of high-level corporate and government settings.A proven track record in leading and implementing economic development strategies in collaboration with industry is a key requirement of this role.
