Executive General Manager, Operations
We’re Planit, a global leader in Quality Assurance - ensuring the best brands around the world release internal and external products that not just work, but are secure, scalable and delight users. Our teams of consultants ensure software and platforms are designed with Quality in mind through to final release. We’re looking for a global head of Operations to streamline our operational efficiency, elevate our operations across sales, and delivery and drive consistency across Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
In this role, you would thrive in detail - owning a team responsible for resource management, revenue forecasting, skills and capability management and constantly managing our bench of resources until they are committed to projects.
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, success in this role means partnering with sales leaders, General Managers and cross-functional partners to drive the continued success of Planit by designing innovative and consistent processes, frameworks and approaches to lifting our Operational Excellence (OX) to ensure we are more efficient, effective and scalable as a professional services organisation.
Supporting our business growth strategy, sample projects range from highly strategic to operational including sales pipeline analysis, sales forecasting, revenue management, regular review of performance metrics, consultant bench management, skills profile management and ownership of our operational platforms as well as driving innovation to our strategic roadmap. The role requires interaction with various areas of the organisation and provides daily exposure to senior executives on the health of the business together proactive action to manage and guide regional awareness and performance against KPIs.
The ideal candidate will have relentless curiosity, a laser eye for detail and possess a passion for extracting insights from data and converting ideas to action. This candidate will demonstrate quick learning and an impressive history of supporting results. Most importantly, the candidate will drive, through strong relationships and excellent communication, alignment across cross-functional stakeholders and implementing consistent frameworks and approaches for forecasting, reporting, bench management and aligning consultant skills with future pipeline and strategic goals.

Preferred Experience
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through change management programs
- Ability to articulately present and debate recommendations at the executive level
- Experience with consulting and technical professional services
- Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations
- Experience with Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, Docusign and PowerBI
- High-energy, team-first attitude: Motivated to work hard in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to help our growing business
- Implementing revenue and sales forecasting techniques
