Your new role
This role ensures the effective delivery of a diverse range of support services including, Out of Home Care and Family Programs with a particular focus on children and young people by:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Child and Youth Services teams;
- Providing strategic performance leadership through the development of opportunities and programs which encourage the achievement of positive outcomes;
- Leading high quality service delivery that meets contractual and performance requirements;
- Developing and implementing strategies, work standards, resource allocation to achieve quality service delivery;
- Leading and managing all aspects of managing risk, financial, people and cultural and health, safety & wellbeing matters impacting the Child and Youth Services teams;
- Developing and maintaining high level stakeholder relationships with government, non-government and private sector; and
- Contributing to organisational strategic planning, outcomes and goals, including governance, marketing and communications and safeguarding.
What you'll need to succeed
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated high-level experience in strategic and operational management, leadership, and change management.
- Demonstrated high-level experience in financial, human, and physical resource management within an environment subject to pressure, ambiguity, and change.
- Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills and experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating service delivery models, policies, and procedures applicable to Child and Youth Services.
- Capacity to represent CatholicCare and negotiate acceptable solutions in situations of differing and sometimes competing interests.
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to advance productive working partnerships with stakeholders at all levels.
- High-level understanding and/or ability to acquire an understanding of social issues relevant to children and young people at a national, state, and local level.
