- 1 of the two days per week in office spent with your team.Job DescriptionThe roleThe Paediatric and Child Health Division (PCHD) provides secretariat support for the Paediatric and Child Health Division Council and its committees, as well as the Chapter of Community Child Health (the Chapter). The Division acts as the governing professional body for paediatricians, providing collegial support and guidance on policy development, professional development, advocacy and networking.The Executive Officer is resp[onsible for providing high level administrative support to the Paediatrics & Child Health Division through secretariat services to the Division Council and Committees and administration of projects under the guidance of the Senior Executive Officer (SEO).Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support to the Division annual, and ad hoc, high-level planning, meetings and events.
- Draft briefings, papers and correspondence as required.
- Ownership of key databases including Committee actions, policy and key stakeholders.
- Supporting key projects
- A firm knowledge of Division and College governance requirements including By-Laws and Terms of Reference
- Recommend, change, or implement procedures and/or processes in line with existing policies and procedures.
- Robust, client focused relationship with Fellows and a good professional relationship with staff and other stakeholders
- Work with PCHD Administration Assistant to post announcements to the PCHD and Chapter of Community Child Health (CCCH) RACP Online Community (ROC) as required and to monitor ROC for any issues arising.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in business administration and secretariat support
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills
- Proven experience in solving complex problems

- Demonstrated experience in conference planning and delivery
- Strong attention to detail
- High level written and verbal communication skills
