The Opportunity
We are seeking passionate Exercise Physiologist with experience in the Health & Fitness Industry and relevant qualifications ready to step up and get on board with our mission to deliver a never before seen level of health and wellness to our target demographic. In addition to our more traditional gym experience and classes, Club Active offers market leading health services through our Allied Health professionals such as Physiotherapists, Dietetics, and Exercise Physiologists.
Our health clubs are currently expanding through internal and franchise opportunities throughout the country. This is a rare opportunity to enter into a passionate and developing Company dedicated to reach new markets with personal opportunities for growth and development.
About The Role
Our Exercise Physiologists deliver key outcomes for Club Active by assisting our members to change the way they age by delivering strength and VO2max improvements through training programs. Additionally, our EP's will also deliver services to our stand alone clinic to non members and assist in the growth and sustainability of this function.
The core components of the role will be:
- Delivering exercise prescription for gym members.
- Clinical exercise prescription for DVA, Medicare, NDIS and Workcover patients.
- Working knowledge of gym and clinic operations
- Working knowledge of billing systems and software
- Working to reporting guidelines
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Accredited Exercise Physiologist, ESSAM
- Experience working in a similar role
- A strategic thinker with strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A willingness to learn and grow
- Ability to work in a team
