MAIN DUTIES INCLUDE:
Complete patient / client health assessments
Develop individualised exercise programs to specific clinical conditions and patient/client needs
Deliver individual and group Exercise Physiology sessions including Clinical/Semi-private in line with best practice guidelines and within the requirements of the business
Delivery of Telehealth services
Report writing
Educate and advise clients on exercise guidelines and adherence / lifestyle modifications
Support the delivery of Springys classes including but not limited to targeted sports pre-hab programs and other healthy population initiatives
Work in collaboration with other sport and exercise professionals
Keep up to date with evolving evidence-based research in the field
Continued personal and professional development to optimise your practice
Qualifications / competencies – Essential:
Exercise Physiology MSc Degree
ESSA (or equivalent) accreditation
Experience in completing health assessments.
Experience in exercise prescription and instruction
Competency in various platforms for delivering Telehealth
Demonstrable knowledge of current trends in the Exercise Physiology industry.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to confidently communicate with a variety of patients /clients
Exposure to and understanding of compensable schemes and patient categories
Demonstrable knowledge of differing client group needs and chronic diseases. Experience working with or willing to work with NDIS participants.
Welcome the challenge of assisting patients/clients across a broad variety of conditions, sports and age groups
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and/or Google Workspace
Good administrative and organisational skills
Tidy and professional presentation, in line with business uniform.
Desirable (not essential):
Pilates certified or experience in teaching Pilates.
Experience working with sports teams
Experience working with adolescents
Experience working in private sector

Job Type: Part Time – may become Full Time depending on suitability
Salary: Guided by the award but negotiable based on experience.
