Our client is one of Australia’s most highly awarded exhibition companies with a fostered reputation across the events and signage sector.
Known for their extensive product base, experience and contacts within the industry. Our client’s services include shell scheme booths, furniture, signage, carpet, display equipment, custom built displays and audio visual equipment.
The Role
We are currently seeking a driven and motivated Team Leader with strong leadership qualities and people mastery. Your ability to work in collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with other key stakeholders such as sales, signage, furniture, and custom to ensure the seamless execution of expo hire bump ins, bump outs, and service desks.
The Candidate
As the Team Leader and Exhibitions Supervisor, you will play a critical role in the smooth setup, logistics, and dismantling of exhibitions.
To be successful you should have / be;
strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
able to lead a team of operational staff, fostering an inclusive work environment and providing direction, training, and support.
possess exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, as well as familiarity with logistics, people management, and basic operational principles.
understanding and empathy towards individuals is highly valued.
able coordinate logistics, floor planning, furniture and signage allocations, exhibitor setup, dismantling, and service schedules.
the ability to develop strategies and implement frameworks to optimise operational efficiencies will be essential.
availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, early mornings, and evenings, is required. Desirable; - To excel in this role, it is advantageous, however not essential to have proven experience in operations, event management, or supervision in a related field.
