Job Description

The majority of our staff are long term employees and all work extremely well together as a team, you would need to be a team player. We are located in Wangara and work throughout Perth, you would be required to start each day from our workshop in Wangara then drive to site/s in the work vehicles. 

We occasionally have work outside the metropolitan area, night shift and weekends available. Candidate would need to have a minimum 1 year paving experience/skills . Knowledge of how to set levels, screed , mark up and cut bricks is essential.

Most of the work we do is Maintenace  paving works and landscaping related works such as installation of artificial grass, installation of limestone walls.  

Our jobs are very diverse which makes the works interesting, detailed and not so labour intense.  

Our main places of work are schools , train stations and local government councils, this would require you to provide a police clearance.

Salary 

We pay:

1. Above award rates and rates that are based on experience 
2. Living away allowance for away works
3. Penalties for all overtime and after hours works

Some essentials:

• Ability to work well independently when required and also as part of a team
• Positive and proactive approach to safety
• Able to pass drug and alcohol screening
• Hard working attitude with great work ethic
• Be physically fit
• White card
• Have or willing to get a police clearance
• Drivers Licence and own vehicle
• Punctuality  is a must
• Common sense

Our ideal candidate/s will also have as many of the following as possible:

• Landscaping or other skilled trades experience (e.g. bricklaying, tiling, concreting, limestone wall installation)
• Forklift, bobcat and/or mini-excavator experience
• Site set out skills 
• Be confident in both hard and soft landscaping
• Reading site Plans
• Confident in speaking with Site Supervisors
