Job description

We are growing and are looking for experienced Camp Attendants in Rig Operations to join our team! 

Day Rate Camp Attendant: $450.00 + 5 weeks accrued annual leave

** 24 hour Drilling Rig Camp / Camp Attendant experience required **

In this position, you will be reporting directly to the Field Supervisor and Operations Manager. You will also be required to liaise and communicate on a daily basis with the client's Rig Manager and Company Man on-site. 

Duties & Essential Job Functions

  • Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen, dry goods, refrigeration and freezer areas to ensure compliance with Food Safety Management Plan.
  • Correct stock rotation.
  • Liaising with team members to ensure overall standards and operations of the camp are kept to standards.
  • Communication daily with Rig Manager and Company Man on-site to ensure operations run smoothly.
  • Delivery of items to rig site.
  • Reporting any incidents, issues, and hazards to immediate Supervisor.
  • Complete all daily, weekly and monthly necessary checks and paperwork as required.
  • Daily monitoring of food temperature checks.
  • Ensuring correct storage and operation of all hazardous chemicals is followed at all times.
  • Maintaining equipment in a hygienic and safe manner at all times.
  • Manage the safe delivery of the Catering, Cleaning and Laundry services on-site and ensure the safety of Personnel on-site.
  • Review and communicate and implement in consultation with workers the SMP, EMP, and Food Safety Program and its supporting SOP's and Safe Work Practices.
  • Maintain records on-site.
  • Laundering and accommodation cleaning.
  • Meal deliveries.

Required Qualifications:

  • For Camp Attendant role - experienced desired.
  • The ability to work on a FIFO/DIDO basis.
  • Current Australia class C manual Driver's License as a minimum.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with colleagues, management and clients alike.
  • Self-motivator.
  • Excellent personal presentation.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Covid-19 Vaccinated.

Desired:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • First Aid Accredited
  • 4X4 training and manual handling
