  • Completion of a doctoral qualification of law and a Bachelor of Laws (or equivalent).
  • Evidence of a high research potential demonstrated through high quality journal publications and a pipeline of papers targeting high-quality refereed journals.
  • Experience in effective teaching in law, mentoring and supervision of students.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work within academic teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and a commitment to positively comply with the associated behaviour expectations.
  • The ability to take a role in outreach activities of the Law School, and to promote the Law School and the discipline of law in the University, amongst the legal profession, and in the wider community.
  • Expertise in the areas of environmental law, climate change law, or regulation of food and agriculture (desirable)
