About Us

Chefs On The Run find work for Experienced Chefs, Cooks, Catering Assistants, Kitchen hands and Waiters. We are expanding into Sunshine Coast for a more permanent brigade north of Brisbane as well as needing more staff for Brisbane areas.

For more than 30 years Chefs On The Run has been building strong relationships with thousands of clients in all areas of hospitality, tourism & catering. We currently have work on offer in Hospitality venues including Hotels, Pubs, Restaurants, Resorts and with Caterers - both large & small. We also have a lot of opportunities with Aged Care & Health and Child Care clients and for those interested in big hours, with clients in the Mining & Industrial sector (predominantly FIFO). 

We are a family-owned business and pride ourselves on taking a personal approach with all of our employees and contractors as well as our clients. You’ll get to know all the members of our friendly operations team – and we will get to know you and your preferences and requirements too. We are Looking for staff with more than 15 hours per week availability.

What You Can Expect

• Above award Casual rates offered +Shift Penalties + Super + O/T Rates with no Cap on Maximum Hours.
• Flexible Hours - longer contracts (travel & accommodation paid) for Regional / Remote gigs across Australia.
• Large range of Restaurants, Clubs, Catering, Health & Aged Care sites

Qualifications & Experience

• Must have completed Commercial cookery certificate III or higher
• Must have at least 5 years post apprenticeship experience
• Must have/obtain  Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Must have or be willing to obtain a Current police check (specifying Unsupervised with Vulnerable People)
• Access to reliable transport
