Role Overview:
Head Chef – Event Catering (Sleeman Sporting Complex), you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen operations, from meticulous food preparation and delivery to maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event catering operations, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
- Staff management and development.
- Implement food safety protocols and monitor compliance.
- Assist with food preparation for corporate events, café menu items and onsite delivery.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Efficient food preparation and elevated presentation standards.
- Adherence to food safety guidelines and accurate order labelling.
- Effective management of a clean and organized work environment.
- Compliance with company recipes, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Qualified Chef with commercial kitchen experience.
- Proficiency in sandwich making and baking.
- Ability to manage workflows in a team environment.
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, and computer skills.
- Desirable: Experience with wok cooking, onsite event catering, and function organization. First aid and RSA certificates are a plus.
