About the role
You must be available to work Monday & Tuesday 8:00am-5:30pm, with the possibility of extra days. Flexibility with days during your training period.
Tasks and responsibilities include:
- Reception duties including answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and assisting patients/visitors at the practice.
- Administrative support, exercising a high degree of responsibility and initiative
- Monitoring, replying to and actioning emails
- Assisting patients with their enquiries
- Managing billing and processing payments through HICAPS, DVA/PRODA etc
- Liaising with referring practices and collating required information
Skills & Experience
- Dental experience essential, preferably with 2 + years experience as a Receptionist/Dental Assistant
- Ability to multitask & prioritise
- High attention to detail/detail oriented
- Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently, while also being open to take direction
- Knowledge in dental software (EXACT preferred), use of basic word processing and HICAPS
- Dental implant knowledge and experience will be highly regarded
- Positive and professional communication skills
