Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for Support Workers who can offer a variety of daily living supports to clients with spinal cord and acquired brain injuries.
Shift Details:
- Daily support between 11:30am to 1:30pm 7 days per week
You must hold (or be willing to obtain);
- Current National Police Check
- Current Yellow Card/National Disability Worker Screening Clearance
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Right to work status
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Current First Aid/CPR Certificate
- Working with Children Check - (Blue Card)
- Disaster and emergency response certificate
- Hand Hygiene and Infection control certificate
- A valid driver's license and the ability to drive client vans (comprehensive car insurance required)
- Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care / Individual Support & paid experience (or studying Nursing)
Additional Selection Criteria:
- Proven experience in providing high-quality care to individuals with Spinal Cord Injuries and Acquired Brain Injuries
-A readiness to perform high-intensity care tasks, including skin checks, medication prompting, and bowel/catheter management
-Palliative Care Experience preferred
-A positive attitude and professional nature.
-Meticulous attention to detail for shift notes and following care plans
