Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Manual handling: Aid clients with mobility challenges through proper manual handling techniques and assisting with exercises.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications according to prescribed routines and ensure accurate documentation.
- Community Engagement: Support clients in participating in social, recreational, and community activities.
- Domestic Duties: Assist with light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe and clean-living environment.
- Behavioral Management: Handle clients with high behaviors, employing appropriate strategies to ensure their safety and well-being, including the use of restrictive practices
- Disability Sector experience or lived experience providing Disability Support
- Current driver’s license and registered vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy skills and smart phone
- Staff induction, ongoing service training and support
- Upskilling and job development with access to our Learning Management system
