Experienced Electrical Auditor

Role Summary:

Techserve is seeking an Electrical Engineer based in Mackay and providing onsite work at our client’s sites as required.

About You

Successful applicants will have a passion for detailed engineering design, auditing and project management in the mining and heavy industrial sectors.

Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) that is recognised and accepted by Engineers Australia.

The successful applicant's role will include:

• Providing engineering, technical and project support to client operations.
• Undertake the execution of design, specification, costing, scoping, and evaluation report works that are required for client projects.
• Performance of engineering audits, reviews and technical report writing.
• Undertaking hazardous area, high voltage and dangerous goods related consultancy services (design, classification, inspections, audits, etc.).
• Promoting safety and fostering a safe culture on all facets of work.
• Act as a liaison between various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams, to facilitate effective communication and resolve any project-related issues.
• Project management of various site projects.

The successful applicant will have:

• Technically competent and proven electrical engineering qualifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel and perform site-based projects.
• Previous experience in hazardous area, high voltage or dangerous goods engineering services (highly desirable).
