Experienced Forklift Operators

Company:

Family Owned and Operated diverse horticulture enterprise, located in Virginia South Australia. Modern facility with Parking on site. 

Role:

The company has recently commissioned a new potato washing and packing line. The business is currently seeking enthusiastic, motivated and reliable Forklift Operators to navigate through our hi tech, fast paced packing facility. 

Duties:

· Operating a Forklifts (Gas and diesel)

· Completing daily forklift safety checklist

· Ensuring product is transported safely to and from designated areas

· Moving stacked produce around the site

· Reporting to line supervisors and production Managers

Skills and Experience:

· High Risk Forklift Licence – Essential

· Forklift experience – Essential

· High volume warehouse or packing shed experience highly regarded.

· A strong focus on following established safety rules & regulations with particular focus on personal & food safety.

· The ability to start early mornings and work weekends

· The ability to work as part of a team with a can-do attitude

· Problem solving skills

· Reliable

· Rights to work in Australia

· Proactive work attitude

This position is an immediate start and it requires a people that can think on their feet and be proactive and be able to priorities the workload.
