Due to significant growth across all pockets of our business, we have an exciting new role as a Civil Construction Leading Hands only a short drive from the City of Adelaide
THE ROLE
- Forecasting and programming
- Procurement and scheduling of labour, subcontractors, equipment, and materials
- Efficient and economic use of resources
- Effective leadership of the construction team
- Start-ups, toolboxes, site inductions and checking tickets
- Mitigating and reporting incidences
- Audits and reporting
- Referring and communicating requirements of DBYD, PMPs, SWMs, and MSDs
The Leading Hands will report directly to the Site Foreman.
The Leading Hand is responsible for the successful delivery of civil construction and sub-division projects by ensuring labour, subcontractors, equipment and material are effectively managed.
ABOUT YOU
- Significant civil construction experience in Bulk Earthworks, subdivision projects and land development
- Experience in working with authorities, such as local councils and Government Authorities, including Dept of Infrastructure and Transport-SA
- Excellent client relationship management
- Strong communication skills coupled with an ability to manage stakeholders, both internally and externally
- A Supervisors Licence ( Civil Construction without restriction ) or ability to gain will be highly regarded
