Programmed are currently seeking a Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team within one of our major clients in mining to service Toyota's and other LV Class vehicles and equiptment.
Successful applicants will hold relivent Australian trade certification and previous mine site or refinery experience, with a strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to safety.
About the role
FIFO from Perth to Pilbara
Roster - 2:1 swings (1st nights/2nd days)
Required Qualifications & Licences:
- Australian Trade Certificate - Light Vehicle or Heavy Duty Mechanic
- Post apprenticeship trade experience
- Valid and current Unrestricted HR class manual licence
Desired Skills and Experience
- Exposure to previous mining/refining/industry work (highly regarded)
- Exposure to previous dealership/workshop working environments (preferred)
- MR & HR truck experience (highly regarded)
- Additional high risk licenses (highly regarded)

- Demonstrated commitment to safety
- Must be clean shaven
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- Team player, conscientious worker with proven strong focus on safety and adherence to site rules/requirements.

- Lighting Plants- Briteforce; Allight
- MR/HR class trucks- Hino; Mercedes; Isuzu; Mitsubishi; Kenworth; Scania
- Pumps- Godwin; Spitwater; Xylem; Truflo; National Pump & Energy
- Skid steer loaders- CAT; Toyota
- Trailers- Fuel; Pressure washer; Tandem axle light duty; Truck trailers & dollies
- VLC- Palfinger; Hiab
