Citadines on Bourke Melbourne is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated professional to fill the role of General Manager. As a key leader in our organization, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing our property and fostering a culture of excellence.
Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you will oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring seamless guest experiences, maintaining high standards of service, and implementing strategic initiatives to drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of daily hotel operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
- Lead and inspire a diverse team of hospitality professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, optimize revenue, and enhance profitability.
- Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and cost control initiatives.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Foster positive relationships with guests, employees, and stakeholders.
- Provide the local area with a new-to-market F&B concept and identity while delivering a great experience.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in senior hospitality management.
- Proven track record of successfully leading teams and achieving business objectives.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and drive operational efficiencies.
- Familiarity with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
