The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, experienced in query languages, and be proficient in both digital and print media strategies. The role requires expertise in campaign planning, content creation, and performance analysis to effectively drive brand awareness and customer engagement.THE ROLE
As our Multimedia Specialist and printer operator you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our cutting-edge systems, ensuring smooth operations, and providing exceptional support to our internal and external clients. With your expertise, you will help us optimize our processes and leverage technology to drive our success in both mail house and printing operations.Key Responsibilities:

• Liaising with IT network specialists regarding online platforms and hardware issues in controlling user access, business continuity, backup, disaster recovery.
• Manipulating and visualizing data using SQL queries, Excel, Visual Basic, or other query languages.
• Operating printing equipment and ensuring high quality output timely completion of print jobs.
• Providing top-notch technical support to our employees and clients, addressing issues promptly and effectively.
• Developing and integrating scripting languages with queries, and image files to produce, maintain and support websites.
• Continuously staying informed about industry trends and advancements to keep our technology at the forefront.
• Performing routine printer maintenance and resolving any issues related to print quality or equipment performance.
• Designing and manipulating imaging and presentations using multimedia software, tools, and utilities such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, or related software.
• Overseeing and supporting IT aspects of printing equipment and systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and updates.
• Collaborating with the production team to ensure effective and efficient printing workflows.
• Ensuring all data and files meet the required standards, including visual clarity, file formats, and compatibility across different platforms and devices.

Minimum requirements for this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of proven experience as a Multimedia Specialist (or closely related occupation)
• Strong experience with SQL, Visual Basic, or other database technologies.
• Knowledge and experience in designing and manipulating images using Adobe software or related multimedia software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel Access, and Visual Basic to develop and maintain complex spreadsheets and databases.
• Experience with scripting languages is preferred.
• Familiarity with mail house and printing operations, software, and equipment is preferred
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Curiosity and an analytical mind with ability to problem solve, identify risks, and proactively address upcoming issues and opportunities.
