1. Job purpose / About the role
Responsible for creating engaging and visually appealing multimedia content for various platforms. This role requires a combination of creative skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of multimedia production process and maintains websites and web applications using software skills and collaborating across the business.
2. Key accountabilities
- Conceptualize, design, and produce multimedia content, including but not limited to videos, animations, graphics, and interactive presentations.
- Collaborate with content creators, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and goals.
- Utilize industry-standard software and tools to edit and enhance multimedia assets, ensuring high-quality output.
- Create, develop and integrate computer code to key products
- Designing and developing digital animations, imaging, presentations, and video clips using multimedia software, tools and utilities, interactive graphics and programming languages
- Communicating with specialists regarding web-related issues, such as security and disaster recovery
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in multimedia production to continuously enhance skills and bring innovative ideas to the team.
- Manage and organize multimedia assets, ensuring a seamless workflow for content creation and distribution.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all multimedia channels.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to multimedia production and delivery.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance the overall quality of multimedia content.
- Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Film Production, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Multimedia Specialist or similar role (e.g. at least 4 years).
- Proficiency in multimedia editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop), Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of design principles, video production, and animation techniques.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to motivate and influence behaviours and outcomes
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Agile mindset, able to deliver value in increments and helping create a culture of continuous improvement
- Highly organised with proven ability to manage multiple work-streams at once in a fast-paced environment
