About the Role
An exciting opportunity presents for a passionate and experienced educator to join our OOSH team on a permanent-part time basis.
You must have the capacity to be a Responsible Person, leading the team and ensuring compliance in the absence of the director/assistant director, ensuring the continued smooth running of the service.
Minimum 17.5 hours per week working After School care shifts, Monday – Friday, and varied shifts during Vacation Care. Possibility of 2-3 permanent before school care shifts for the right candidate.
We will consider flexibility around university or other commitments for the right candidate.

To be successful in the role, you will have:
Criteria:
- Qualification in Early Childhood/OOSH/Teaching (or working towards)
- Experience in a childcare/OOSH
- Willingness and capacity to be a Responsible Person
- Demonstrated Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and ‘My Time Our Place’ Framework.
- Passion, commitment, and positivity with the ability to innovate and think critically.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to contribute to the development, planning and implementation of an innovative, stimulating and high quality program for children aged 5-12 years.
- Ability to develop positive, respectful, and responsive relationships with children.
- Ability to actively supervise and engage with children to keep them safe from potential harm and hazard.
- Commitment to maintaining a child safe environment and responding to child protection concerns.
- Ability to develop professional relationships with colleagues and actively lead and work as part of a collaborative team.
- Ability to build meaningful partnerships with families and the local community.
- Valid Working with Children Check Clearance.
- Valid Police Check (within the last 6 months, or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid Certificate (with Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training) (or willing to obtain).
- Child Protection Qualification (or willingness to obtain).
