We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Parts Interpreter to join our experienced sales team of 8 members. As a Parts Interpreter, you will be responsible for identifying, sourcing and selling of 4WD, automotive & mining parts to fulfill customer orders. Our business is built on customer service. You will be expected to build on the strong customer relationships already in place, and create new ones.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and process parts orders received via phone, email, or in-person inquiries.
- Utilise electronic parts catalogues, and other resources to accurately identify and locate required parts.
- Provide pricing, availability, and delivery information to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with suppliers to source parts that are not readily available in stock.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as required.
- Communicate effectively with other team members and departments to ensure seamless workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, new products, and technological advancements related to parts and accessories.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in an automotive, industrial, or mining environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic parts catalogues, databases, and computerised inventory systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in identifying parts and processing orders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and industry developments.
- Previous experience with 4WD parts will be highly regarded.
