Key Accountabilities and Requirements
- Compliance to Manufacturing and Assembly Instructions and process.
- Must be able to read English and understand workplace documents including production procedures, work schedules, assembly instructions and basic engineering drawings.
- Must be mechanically inclined and experienced using hand and power tools, fixtures, machinery, and equipment.
- Suitable finger dexterity and fine motor skills.
- Undertake activities such as simple wiring and insulating.
- Brazing and Pipe joining experience is desirable
- Be able to learn how to prepare and assemble units and sub-assemblies.
- Willingness to be cross-trained, and be able to locate to other areas where needed
- Document work and output in production and quality forms.
- Inspects components and completed work for proper assembly within allotted task time
- Factory cleaning, sweeping and dust management
- Waste Management including recycling and separation of materials
- Participates in 5S and Kaizen initiatives
Equipment Used (all provided)
- Use of Hand Tools
- Use of Power/Air Tools
- Use of cutting equipment and grinding/buffing equipment
- Use of measuring equipment
- Use of heating and joining equipment
- Use of chemicals for cleaning, binding, or mixing into molds.
- Use of calibrated tools, torque wrenches
- Use of Material Handling Equipment – Hand Pallet Truck, Trolley’s, Walkie Stacker
- Use of Warehouse tools, Box Cutter, Tape Gun, Strapping tool, hand tools.
- Occasional use of Access Equipment – Ladder, Steps
- Occasional use of Full Face Respirator
- Use of ICT equipment – Hand Scanner, Printer, Computer
Loads of Parking on site
7am to 3.06pm finish. Occasional Saturday overtime.
