Form of workMcArthur is working in partnership with a leading not-for-profit Aged Care provider, Uniting AgeWell. They deliver excellent services with high standards to both community and residential Aged Care elderly clients. Hawthorn has a state-of-the-art residential facility that was commissioned by Uniting AgeWell 4 years ago. It boasts large multi functional living areas for the residents, a gorgeous cafe for family and friends to visit, a communal garden accessible by all residents throughout the home and a memory support unit that promotes inclusiveness. One side has access to well manicured gardens that are north-east facing, whilst the other side has a panoramic cityscape of Melbourne - even from the residents' private rooms.
Due to the high specifications of this residence, the care managers are looking for staff who can maintain this level of excellence through the work they provide. We are looking for experienced Aged Care workers, who are truly committed to ongoing and permanent work at the home: who have outstanding interpersonal skills, competent in their delivery of services to elderly and are up to date with the Aged Care Standards outlined by the government.
You will need the following to apply:
* Cert III/IV Aged Care/Cert III Individual Support
* 2-3 years experience in Aged Care setting highly desired (will consider less for right candidate)
* Current clear police check or be willing to obtain one
* WWCC
* First Aid and CPR certificates
* 3 x COVID-19 Vaccinations and Flu Vaccine 2023
