Care to Care is recruiting for an experienced Scheduler to join our team in this full-time role. You will be responsible for the coordination and scheduling of our support workers, operating across Brisbane. Flexible roster and some elements of work from home will be on offer. Our main office is based in Cannon Hill and you would be based here.

Main Duties:
- Develop and manage care service schedules, considering each client’s individual needs and matching with support workers’ skills and geographical locations
- Arrange replacement staff to cover sick and annual leave, and planned or unplanned absences and ad hoc shift changes
- Ensure compliance, cost optimisation as well as a focus on client and support worker satisfaction
- On-call: shared across the team, on a rotational roster
- Administrative activities, using the Care Management System
Key requirements:
- Ideally, 3+ years’ experience in service coordination, scheduling/rostering –with multiple Client Management Systems/software applications
- Experience with scheduling mobile workers in the in-home/Community Care environment
- Working knowledge of SCHADS and Nurses Awards will be beneficial
- Ideally, working knowledge of HCP and NDIS programmes
- Ability to prioritise, coordinate and resolve enquiries/rescheduling in a high-pressure environment
- Proactive and logical problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, telephone and collaboration/influencing skills
- Excellent time management skills and a sense of urgency
- Receive client feedback, enquiries and complaints, and respond as required
- Strong client service focus – must be a team player
- Experience in office administration, including advanced computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
We offer a competitive remuneration package, in line with qualifications and experience under the relevant award with an additional above-award premium. On-call is remunerated in addition.
