Experienced Skid Steer/Posi-Track Operator.

EXPERIENCED SKID STEER/ POSI-TRACK OPERATOR - IMMEDIATE START. 

an exciting opportunity presents itself for an experienced Posi-Track operator to join our small family business on a casual basis with full time hours & overtime available. the position will lead to full time position apon successful completion of the trial period. Brand new equipment.

Areas: west Melbourne, Geelong, Ballarat.

About the role: 

we are seeking someone who is able to ”run their own race”. 
 

to be considered for this role you will be 

• self sufficient.
• be able to complete daily plant pre starts/maintenance. 
• build relationships with our clients and site supervisors. 
• maintain a high level of workmanship. 
• treat the gear as if it were your own. 
  most of all be reliable

rates & inclusions:

• $35-40 + super and penalty’s negotiable based on experience.
• own transport a MUST.
• be able to transport a fuel cell
• fuel card.
• paid travel.

The successful applicant will have:

• be self sufficient & be able to work unsupervised. 
• be responsible for building relationships with clients/supervisors.
• maintenance/house keeping of plant. 
• fuelling machinery. 
• filling out daily pre starts.
• good work history & references.
• HR truck license with tipper experience (advantage but not essential)
• current operator tickets SOA / VOC.
• minimum 2 years experience.
• experience in civil an advantage. 
• red/white card. 
• must have a good work ethic, be neat & tidy in appearance/presentation.

Job tasks & responsibilities:  

• hours of work are normally but not limited to 7am-5pm Monday - Friday. Saturdays will be required depending on the project & are flexible, hours 7am - 1pm. 
• operate Posi-track with tilt hitch on a civil subdivision site Doing topsoil allotments, road infrastructure. 
• willing to travel when required.
• a good work history & satisfactory reference.
• current national recognized training tickets/SOA. 
• move able to maintain the machine as if it were your own.
