About Condabri Beef
Condabri Beef (Drury Farming Company Pty Ltd) is a family owned and operated integrated Feedlot, Backgrounding & Farming Enterprises. The feedlot is located 25km south of Miles & 22km from Condamine. Construction has commenced on a large-scale expansion of the current feedlot footprint.
Purpose
We are seeking motivated and experienced Tipper Truck Driver to join our expanding team. The day-to-day role will be assisting with the construction of the new feedlot expansion in triple Tipper Trucks which is all on farm.
You’ll be a proactive and positive member of the Condabri Beef team, who has a willingness to learn and be part of an expanding family organisation.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Safely operate truck and triple tipper trailers across the worksite whilst coordinating with other trades.
- Perform thorough pre-start inspections and accurately complete daily logbook/timesheet.
- Maintain equipment performance by checking vehicle fluid levels and assisting in performing other minor maintenance.
- Ensure all operation is carried out in compliance with company and WH&S policies and procedures.
- Ensure machinery is operated to optimum performance and in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
- Cleaning the machine’s cab area for the safety and comfort for all operators and keeping work areas free of material that could cause damage.
- Multi-skilled Operators from time to time will be asked to carry out task other than operating machinery.
- Daily team communication and alignment.
- Perform other tasks and duties as required from time to time as required by the needs of the business.
Ideal skillset;
- Minimum HR (Manual) Licence required, HC/MC preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of Tipper Truck Driver experience preferred.
- VOC and/or proof of training for desired equipment.
- Mechanical Knowledge.
- Team orientated work within a small team.
- Self-starter & ability to work unsupervised.
- Flexibility - able to meet changing requirements.
- Always demonstrate commitment to safe working practices and animal welfare.
- Be well mannered and have a good, clean appearance with a positive attitude.
- Physically fit to meet the inherent requirements of the role, including manual handling tasks.
