Experienced Traders - Quant / Python / Market Maker / HFT

Our client is seeking experienced Options Traders/ Market makers to join their team in Sydney.

The ideal candidates will have over three years’ experience in a similar high-frequency trading position; have traded/seen various trading strategies; and have knowledge of various programming and back-testing skills such as Python.

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day responsibility of trading the relevant book
• Rigorous risk management and perfect compliance with regulatory rules
• Improving strategies through analysis, prototyping and collaboration with developers
• Designing and implementing new trading strategies
• Openness to trading new products and willingness to set them up

Key specifications:

• Prior options market making experience
• Successful track record of proven P&L and market share
• Good understanding of trading systems
• Outstanding numerical and analytical skills
• Proactive interest in improving existing trading strategies and identifying new opportunities
