The Role: Web/API Python Developer

Client Overview:
Our client, a pioneer in the finance industry known for fostering innovation, is seeking a skilled Web/API Python Developer to contribute to their global markets business. This 6-month contract offers a unique chance to collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to cutting-edge projects that impact the global landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
As a hands-on Web/API Python Engineer, you will use your skills in designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based web applications built using a Postgres, React and Python technology stack. These web applications provide critical Identity Access Management (IAM) functionality for our business, ensuring our user have the right permissions to the right systems.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Track record with Python engineering the back end of web applications.
- Solid understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
- Ability to build efficient API features in Python, FAST, and RESTful API’s
- Knowledgeable in SQL using PostgreSQL and MySQL databases. Experienced in Python Pandas library.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, using tools like Git, Jira, Bamboo and Confluence.
