Experienced Tradesman

We are a stainless & mild steel fabricator capable of meeting all steel manufacturing needs. We are experienced in structural steelwork & specialise in difficult fabrication & installation projects. We take a project from quote to paint finish, all at the one location.
We are a medium sized local General Engineering firm that has been operating since 1980 and 2 of our owners are the original owners, Our firm provides plenty of opportunity and a wide variety of work both in the workshop and on site. Our firm believes in delivering a quality product to our clients and looking after our staff.THE ROLE
We are currently looking for experienced Tradesman (Metal Fabricators/Welders) for several large projects starting Mid July. The projects are ongoing for 2 years, however the right candidate would have ongoing work into the future.
Experience in Stainless/Mild Steel Fabrication is essential.
A skillset for all tasks associated with Steel Fabrication is required.
38-50Hr weeks, with possible additional overtime on weekends.
Any other industry tickets such as Forklift/Crane/Rigging/Dogging/EWP etc would be looked up on favorably.Your day will have plenty of variety in tasks and with workshop and site work available.
This position would suit a candidate that has the following attributes/skills;

- adhere to Quality Assurance procedures,
- be competent in reading of drawings,
- able to utilise hand and power tools,
- comply with work, health and safety policies & procedures,

- be willing to follow instructions.Hourly rate is dependent on experience and is negotiable.
The right permanent staff will have access to our staff debtors system, annual bonuses (dependent on performance), paid training and development if required.
