Experienced Underground Coal Mine Electricians, Fitters and Operators

The Role: 

We are currently seeking Experienced Underground Fitters, Electricians, and Operators who possess relevant experience and expertise within the Underground Coal mining industry. Positions are Permanent Local/DIDO positions located within Lithgow area.

In addition to the above, you will have a genuine commitment to safety and demonstrate a sound understanding of risk and hazard identification. 
You will be an exceptional team member with a flexible attitude and great work ethic.  

Mandatory Requirements - Fitters:

• Fitter/ Mechanic Qualifications  
• Experience in Conveyor belt installs and maintenance
• Underground Diesels Experience
• Ability to read schematics

Mandatory Requirements - Electricians:

• Electrical Qualification
• Current electrical license
• Current EEHA
• Current LVR/CPR

To be successful with your application you must have the following - 

• Minimum 12 Months Underground Coal experience
• Hold relevant Trade Certificate 
• Work Alone Authorisation
• Current, or willingness to obtain, NSW Order 43 medical - including drug and alcohol screening
• Detailed evidence of previous Underground Coal experience
• Valid & Current driver’s licence 
• Proven excellent track record in safety and compliance
• Conduct as a Team member with a high work ethic
