These assets include a world-class, integrated network of 15 iron ore mines, four port facilities, a 1,700 kilometre rail network and related infrastructure. Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety, and environmental performance. About the Role:WorkPac are currently seeking Exploration Geologists. The position would hold a 2/2 FIFO roster based at Winu for a 6-month duration. This role is a great opportunity for a passionate professional who enjoys working in the field, has solid leadership and stakeholder management skills and able to bring all the pieces of the project together. Key Responsibilities will include:• Plan and design drill programs for risk management in resources and reserves.• Undertake field interactions with contract partners. • Manage and oversee the collection and interpretation of data. • Ensure sampling and quality control of geological data is maintained to a high standard.• Provide leadership and support for contractor management.• Contribute to on-site planning and scheduling.Skills & Experience Required:• Tertiary qualification in Geology• Exploration and mining experience required. • Experience in resource development • Four-wheel driving certificate• C-Class driver’s licence• First Aid Certificate• Software and general computer skillsAbout WorkPacWorkPac is Australia’s largest privately owned workforce services business with over 1.3 million registered candidates.
