MPI in conjunction with Capella Metals are seeking an experienced and dynamic Exploration Manager to lead their exploration efforts in identifying and developing high-quality sedimentary-hosted Copper, Base Metals, Uranium and Iron Oxide Copper-Gold assets. The Exploration Manager will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth strategy by overseeing exploration projects from inception to resource delineation.

The Role

• Lead and manage exploration programs to identify and evaluate Copper- Gold, Uranium and Base Metals prospects.
• Develop and execute exploration strategies and plans in alignment with corporate objectives.
• Supervise exploration teams and contractors, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
• Utilise geological, geophysical, and geochemical data to assess exploration targets and prioritize drilling activities.
• Oversee the design and implementation of drilling campaigns, including target definition, drillhole planning, and data interpretation.
• Conduct thorough geological and technical assessments to estimate resource potential and guide decision-making.
• Stay abreast of industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes relevant to Uranium exploration.
• Prepare and present exploration reports and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Foster positive relationships with regulatory agencies, local communities, and indigenous groups to facilitate permitting and license requirements.

The Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Exploration, including experience exploring for sedimentary-hosted Copper and / or Uranium.
• In-depth knowledge and experience dealing with Queensland’s applicable mining laws, regulations, heritage approvals and environmental standards.
• Strong technical proficiency in geological mapping, sampling techniques, and interpretation of geophysical and geochemical data.
• Experience in geological modelling using industry-standard software
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Senior exploration geologists ready to make their next career move are also encouraged to apply.
• Perth based with campaign style travel to Queensland.
