Form of workIn your new role as Export Shipping Coordinator, you will be required to manage all Export Shipping documentation for the company’s contracts with its customers. This will include compliance with contract Incoterms, preparation of commercial invoices and other shipping documentation.
This is a key role in the company, your duties will include:
- Preparation of all Export Shipping documentation, obtaining certification from relevant authorities; and arranging marine insurance and any other inspections as required
- Working with the Company’s bankers to negotiate letters of credit
- Arranging third party shipments and preparation of shipping documentation relating to these shipments
- Working with the Company’s insurers on the lodgement of all marine insurance claims including obtaining all relevant documentation relating to the claim from the relevant parties
About You:
To be successful, you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in export management, or experience and other training of not less than 4 years in an export/import environment
- Excellent knowledge of the workings of letters of credit, bank guarantees and standby letters of credit
- High level export documentation skills with some knowledge of job costing in a project manufacturing environment
- Proficient use of Microsoft Suite of products
- Excellent knowledge of current Incoterms (International Commercial Terms)
