Port Macquarie Race Club is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced Caterers to serve its members and guests. Our Function Centre is currently open 22 times a year for racedays as well as for various functions as and when required.
Expectations of suitable applicants include (but are not limited) the ability to:
- Provide consistent quality meals at competitive prices;
- Cater for dietary requirements;
- Operate both restaurant and bistro simultaneously;
- Review and update seasonal menus
- Actively seek and act on customer’s feedback;
- Provide and oversee qualified and well trained staff in all aspects of food preparation;
- Maintain exceptional levels of cleanliness;
The successful applicant must also be fully conversant with relevant legislation relating to food service, hygiene and employment condition, including WHS compliance and insurance
Your Expression of Interest should include a covering letter that addresses:
- The above mentioned mandatory expectations;
- Details of past and current catering experiences, including any references;
- Samples of food concepts, including menus and pricing
Qualifications required:-
Certificate III Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Current First Aid Certificate
Current Class C Drivers Licence
The Club is prepared to negotiate terms with the right applicant or organisation and is open to considering various options, including the provision of in house services as opposed to outsourcing.
