UGL's Utilities Operations & Maintenance business is a trusted provider of services to owners of assets across power, water, and gas sectors. Building on our strong reputation and long-standing contracts in power distribution, transmission, and water operations and maintenance, we are poised for significant growth.

As we prepare for this exciting new phase, we are seeking Expressions of Interest for multiple key roles to establish our business nationally giving you the opportunity to be part of the journey as we bolster our capacity to deliver operations and maintenance services within the utilities sector.

At the heart of UGL's Utilities Operations & Maintenance business are the experienced professionals who once served as Lineworkers. These individuals bring their invaluable expertise, firsthand knowledge, and passion for the field to drive UGL's commitment to excellence and innovation in the utilities sector.

The Opportunity - Expression of Interest - Glove & Barrier Lineworker

We are keen to hear from experienced Glove & Barrier Lineworkers who are passionate about making a difference and are ready to take on a pivotal role at the forefront of our growing team based in our Canning Vale depot.

About you

  • Prior experience as a G&B Line Worker and/or High Voltage (HV) Switching Operator
  • Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Overhead (UET30619) or equivalent
  • Glove and Barrier qualification
  • White Card
  • A current Driving Licence is required, with Medium to Heavy Rigid (MR/HR) classification preferred.
  • High Risk Work Licences (Elevating Work Platform, Dogging and/or Rigging)

Please note a rigorous pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening will be conducted for short-listed candidates
