Are you currently studying for a Certificate III or above in Disability, Mental Health, Community Services, and other relevant field and looking for a good organization with excellent workplace culture for completing your placement?

We have placement opportunities for people who have a genuine interest in supporting people living with disability and/or mental health. We will help you achieve your learning objectives and support you to develop new skills throughout your placement.

About Support Work placement at CLO:
Every day can be different as a Support Worker as you will work with CLO participants with varying support needs. As a Person-Centred Support Worker, you will positively contribute to the lives of the people you support and will play an active role in ensuring everyone experiences great opportunities and a great life. We have fantastic opportunities for Mental Health Workers to join Team CLO in supporting our participants with complex needs.
CLO aims to match your skills and interests with the people you support, and we encourage people with varying backgrounds in disability and mental health to apply.
You will empower our participants by assisting in assessment of needs and providing education, training, and support in the least restrictive environment.
The Essentials:
To be part of CLO's dynamic team, you must be values-fit with CLO who would always put our participants first. You are someone who respect all people and have a positive and pro-active approach to your work, supporting the achievement of goals of our participants.
Qualifications & Essential Licences:

  • Have completed the course work for the Certificate III (or above) in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Mental Health or Community Services (call us if you are unsure if your qualifications match, or if you don't have a qualification but would like to work in the industry)
  • DHS (Disability-Related) Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening Check (if you do not hold but happy to get please let us know)
  • Working with Children Check (if you do not hold but happy to get please let us know)
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Manual Handling certificate
