As we prepare for this exciting new phase, we're launching a new Utilities Operations and Maintenance business in Western Australia. We are seeking Expressions of Interest for an experienced Powerline Scoper to join our team based out of Canning Vale.

The Role
This role will collaborate with a diverse operational team. You will be responsible for powerline inspections, ensuring that both desktop and site scoping requirements are managed and completed at a high standard.
- Manage and execute all Site Scoping requirements
- Conduct comprehensive inspections and assessments of powerline infrastructure
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams for seamless integration of findings
- Identify and document issues, hazards and maintenance requirements
- Completing and providing detailed reports on inspection findings and material requirements
- Manage and execute all Desktop scoping requirements
- Plan scoping operations to consider Environmentally Sensitive Zones, Rail/road consideration, schools/businesses etc
- Develop strategic plans for effective execution of powerline projects
- Working closely with our Operations team on the overall project requirements
What makes you right for UGL
- Ideally you will have proven experience as a Powerline Scoper with material ordering and planning expertise.
- Trade-based qualification in a discipline such as Trade Certificate or Distribution / Transmission Overhead (Glove & Barrier desirable)
- Certificate 3 Distribution Cable Jointer or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Familiar with inspection tools, technology, and project management
