What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Intermodal business unit are currently seeking an MC driver with B-double experience to join our team. You will be responsible for safely delivering various palletised freight on change over runs from Wagga to Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. As a part of this role, you will be required to operate our automatic Volvo fleet pulling taught liner and refrigerated trailers, completing up to 3/5 loads per week and roughly 900+kms per shift. We currently have multiple permanent full-time opportunities available working Monday to Friday. Key areas:

• Deliver palletised general freight on change over runs.
• Daily prestart checks, including refueling and maintaining truck interior.
• Comply with Linfox’s coupling and uncoupling procedures.
• Ensure loads are restrained appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors and customers where needed.
• Commit to Linfox Safety Standards at all times to ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focus.
